The standard

A voice demo is easy: a quiet room, a scripted caller, a clean line. A real shop floor is not quiet, callers spell names wrong on the first try, and some calls need a person immediately. A voice agent that holds a natural conversation still loses the booking if it writes down the wrong callback number. Spelled names, digit strings, and part numbers are where speech recognition breaks first, especially with a compressor or a radio running behind the caller.

So every detail the agent captures gets read back in a format the caller can correct, before anything is written down. It costs a few seconds per call. It is cheaper than a technician showing up at the wrong address.
