Overview

An email can say a car is available. A personal video shows the exact car, puts a face on the salesperson, and gives the customer a reason to reply. The same idea works in the service bay. Instead of asking someone to approve a repair they can't see, the technician shows what was found. VentaVid turns those moments into repeatable, measured workflows. Hashlogics helped build it.

The challenge

The problem we set out to solve.

01

Making and sharing video was scattered across cameras, chat apps, and email.

02

A video on its own carried no next step.

03

Managers couldn't tell whether customers watched or replied.

04

Big dealer groups needed one branded look even with hundreds of staff filming.

What success needed to look like

  • Let staff shoot personal videos fast, from a phone.
  • Keep every customer-facing video on brand.
  • Pair every video with a next step the customer can take.
  • Show teams when customers engage.
  • Scale across dealer groups with many locations.
Our approach

How we delivered it.

  1. 01

    Diagnose

Mapped where video could move the needle, from first sales inquiry through service checks and handover.

  2. 02

    Design

Cut video creation down to a repeatable staff flow. Nobody needs editing skills to send a polished result.

  3. 03

    Build

Developed the app around recording, branding, sharing, and tracking personal videos.

  4. 04

    Launch

Shaped reusable templates so dealer teams roll the product out the same way at every location.

  5. 05

    Run

Grew the platform around measured sales and service use cases, not video as a lone feature.

The solution

What we built.

VentaVid turns a phone recording into an interactive customer page. A salesperson films the exact car a prospect asked about and sends a personal intro. A service adviser films the inspection, explains the work, and gives the customer a clear way to decide. Behind it sit branded templates, team controls, and analytics, so managers see how video is used and whether customers respond.

Whose numbers these are.

VentaVid also publishes a 22% higher approval rate on recommended service work. One customer example, Petromin Stellantis, reports parts and labour upselling rising from 55% to 91% with the product. All of these are VentaVid-published figures, not ours.

The takeaway

The value isn't simply sending a video. It comes from making video repeatable across a whole dealer group, putting a next step right beside the content, and showing the business what happens after the customer presses play.

“I started Hashlogics because too many teams ship a demo, get paid, and disappear. We build to a standard we’d run ourselves — and we stay to keep it running.”
