Hire

Hire AWS developers who design for the bill and the uptime

Our engineers have run multi-tenant platforms and live IoT pipelines on AWS. They work in your repo and your standups, and you interview them before anyone starts.

What you are getting

4 things that decide this

  1. 01Senior engineers only, each with AWS systems already carrying production traffic for named clients you can read about on this site.
  2. 02You interview every engineer before they join, so nobody is assigned to your team from a profile you never saw.
  3. 03They embed in your tools and your standups rather than working behind a ticket queue, and they stay on the same project instead of rotating.
  4. 04If the fit is wrong, say so and we replace the engineer. Every line they write is yours from the first commit.

What an AWS developer actually does here

Very little of this job is picking services off a slide. Most of it is deciding which ones are load-bearing and which are padding a résumé.

On TankAware they built the IoT sensor pipeline and inspection engine for a multi-tenant petroleum platform on AWS. Data is encrypted at rest and in transit, and each client company is isolated under its own subdomain. On SmartREI they built the AWS backend behind a real estate investment tool. It stays synced to HubSpot and Calendly, so the numbers a buyer sees and the consultation they book do not drift apart.

Two different industries, one repeated job: a platform that stays up under real load and does not surprise you on the invoice.

What they take off your roadmap

Architecture that fits the workload

Managed services picked for what the system actually needs, not for the newest name on the console. Boring and defensible beats novel and unproven.

Multi-tenant isolation

Each client company kept in its own secure space, with access controls and audit trails live from day one rather than bolted on after an incident.

Cost as a design constraint

Instance sizing, storage tiers and data transfer paths reviewed against the bill, and against the dashboard. A system that stays up but costs more every month has not actually been designed.

Runbooks that outlive the engagement

Alerting, backups and a documented recovery path your team can run without calling us at 2am.

How an engineer joinsLive
  1. Scoping callFree. What you need built
  2. ShortlistEngineers matched to the work
  3. You interviewYour process, your bar
  4. EmbedYour repo, standups, tools
  5. ReviewSwap if the fit is wrong

The interview is yours. A marketplace that assigns a vetted profile is skipping the only step that predicts fit.

How hiring works

  1. 01

    Tell us what is stuck

A free call about the system, the load it carries and the deadline. If the problem is not really an AWS problem, you will hear that on the call.

  2. 02

    Meet the engineers

We shortlist people who have run multi-tenant or IoT workloads on AWS in production, and you interview them. Say no and we go back to the shortlist.

  3. 03

    They embed

Your repo, your standups, your ticket system. One of our engineers owns the infrastructure and is named as the person accountable for it.

  4. 04

    They hand over

The architecture, the runbooks and someone on your team trained to operate it. Where a client would rather we kept watching the system, we do that under a service level we agree. The first 2 months of support and maintenance are free, with every build.

Tell us what your AWS bill or your uptime keeps getting wrong

Bring the architecture and the numbers behind it. The scoping call is free, and you will leave it knowing whether this is a design problem or a workload problem.

Questions, answered
01How is hiring an AWS developer through you different from a job board or a marketplace profile?

You get an engineer who has already run multi-tenant or IoT workloads on AWS in production, plus a company accountable if it goes wrong. A job board hands you a candidate and a hiring risk you carry alone. If our engineer is not right, we replace them, which is not a conversation you can have with a contractor you found yourself.

02Can they take over an AWS setup someone else built?

Yes. Most engagements start with reading an existing account rather than a blank one. We map how services are wired together, where the tenant boundaries are supposed to sit, and where the monthly bill is coming from. A paid two-week diagnostic covers that where the setup is unclear, and it ends with a fixed price for the fix rather than a guess.

03How much overlap do we get with our working day?

A daily overlap with your hours, fixed before anyone starts. Standups, reviews and incident calls happen while both sides are awake, because infrastructure work is a conversation rather than a ticket. We agree the window during scoping and it does not move without you.

04Who owns the infrastructure code and the AWS account?

All of it is yours from the first commit, including the infrastructure-as-code, the runbooks and the account itself. Nothing sits in a repository or a login you cannot reach after the engagement ends.

05What actually drives the cost of an AWS engagement?

The state of the current setup, more than anything else. A greenfield build is quick to scope; an account with years of undocumented changes and an unexplained bill is the work. Scoping calls are free. Where we have to get into an existing account before answering, a paid two-week diagnostic produces a fixed price rather than a guess.

Let’s build the one that runs after.

We build AI agents and automation, then stay on under an agreed service level. A senior engineer reads every brief, and your call gets scheduled within 24 hours.

What happens next

  1. 01

You send a brief or book a call

    Two minutes, whichever you prefer.

  2. 02

A senior engineer replies within 24 hours

    Not a sales rep.

  3. 03

    Honest scoping, in writing

And if we’re not the right fit, we say so.
