Independent creators and viewers have opposite problems. Creators need reach. Viewers need an easy way to find work worth watching. Reveel puts both in one place: audiences stream independent films free with ads, memberships add ad-free viewing and perks, and creators submit work straight to the platform. Hashlogics helped build the platform underneath.
The problem we set out to solve.
A streaming product has to play the same way on very different devices.
It needed free ad-funded viewing and paid membership in the same product.
Creators needed a real submission process, not informal file sharing.
Accounts, favourites, and playback state had to match on every platform.
What success needed to look like
- Make independent work easy to find and watch.
- Keep the way in free and easy.
- Offer paid membership perks.
- Reach viewers on the devices they already stream on.
- Give filmmakers a clear way to submit work.
- Grow with the content library and the audience.
How we delivered it.
- 01
Diagnose
Split the system into its working parts: viewing, membership, video delivery, content management, and creator intake.
- 02
Design
Kept the core journeys the same across screen sizes instead of treating each app as its own product.
- 03
Build
Developed the platform around accounts, browsing, streaming, memberships, and creator content.
- 04
Launch
Took the product beyond the web onto phones and TVs.
- 05
Run
Kept adapting as the catalogue, membership model, and device list grew.
What we built.
Reveel gives independent film the plumbing of a modern streaming service. Viewers make an account, browse movies, shows, shorts, and originals, save favourites, and stream from a browser or a supported device. Ads fund free viewing. Paid tiers add ad-free access and perks. On the supply side, filmmakers submit films through the creator flow instead of waiting on traditional distribution.

Where the platform stands.
Reveel has evolved into a multi-device streaming product with free access, membership options, filmmaker submissions, and distribution across web, mobile, and connected-TV environments. The live platform positions itself around independent creators specifically, rather than competing as another general-purpose catalogue.

A streaming service is not one video player. It's a web of apps, identities, entitlements, metadata, and creator flows that must behave the same everywhere the viewer presses play.
